FRAME 01
BURGA story.
Took four or five months, a dozen changed minds, and hundreds of terabytes of footage to get through. Gerda Remeikytė's vision. My job was getting it into daylight.
FRAME 02
Drop The Drama. BURGA.
Wanted this one badly. Wrote it myself. Animated by Luis Villanova, a friendship from the World Cup finally turned into a project. Became a top-of-funnel ad with unusually strong view-through.
FRAME 03
Clean Internet. Surfshark.
Locked ourselves in a room with Jonas Suchadolskas and Indrė Bručkutė until got the whole strategy for these ads figured out. Directed it. Agata, the actress, was a pleasure to work with. Post-production spent far too long figuring out how to make trash from the screen look real.
FRAME 04
Your Device is Tracking You. Surfshark.
Same saga, same team. Directed this one too. Still proud of the "laptop eyes" effect we pulled off.
FRAME 05
Everything Is Up For Grabs. Surfshark.
More animation than the others, and a real hassle to pull together. Built alongside animator Aušrys Liaudanskas. Produced this one.
FRAME 06
Bokšto Skveras Complex.
One of the most enjoyable projects. Everything just clicked. Directed by Danielius Minkevičius; I handled everything from selling the idea and raising the budget to the last finishing touch. The people behind the complex later used it to pitch similar high-value projects to investors in Oman.
FRAME 07
Sounding Castles and Travelling Musicians. Saulius Petreikis.
Partly funded by the Ministry of Culture. Made with friends, where every idea got a shot. Directed this one; the music side of it was the real pleasure. This is part two, part one's below.
FRAME 08
The Instruments of Old. Saulius Petreikis.
Directed this too. Made me nervous at that point in my career, but the result still holds up. The full-length versions live on Saulius's YouTube (these are just trailers), and toddlers really love them.
FRAME 09
Agrorodeo. Vaidotas Žala.
Been shooting with Vaidotas since his very first Baja rally. Out of a dozen videos together, this one's still the most fun: extreme shots, almost rolled the car, some high-rise ideas. It picked up a few hundred thousand views on its own.
